Blackbird Studios

We took some time at Studio A at Blackbird in Nashville to record a wide variety of performers playing through the SFP-60 and BF-1.  Video of these performances with links to the 24/96 audio tracks will be up soon, but in the meantime, take a listen to some raw tracks here. Where available, we've even included some A/B shootouts between the SFP-60 and the pristine Neve 1073 preamps at Blackbird.

‚Äč

When we recorded these tracks, we varied the Color knob on the SFP-60.  So while the 1073 sounds consistent throughout en entire take, you will hear variations in the SFP-60 tracks designed to show a few of the various personalities that the device can produce.
